Protect our Pollinators

Big Wonder Children’s Host Community Event to Protect Pollinators

Children Lead the Way in Raising Awareness About the Importance of Bees and Other Pollinators

Big Wonder invites families, friends, and neighbors to join a community celebration in support of pollinators on Monday, August 19th, from 5:00–6:00 p.m. at 60 Kent Street, Saint Paul, MN 55102.

This event is the culmination of the children’s summer learning about pollinators and their vital role in our ecosystem. As newly minted Pollinator Protectors, the children will share what they've learned and invite the community to join them in taking action.

Attendees will enjoy:

  • Interactive art activities

  • A letter-signing station for pollinator advocacy

  • A special presentation featuring children and guest educators from Pollinate Minnesota

  • Live bees in a safe, educational display

“We’ve been learning how pollinators help grow the food we eat and keep our environment healthy,” said one young Pollinator Protector. “Now we want everyone to help protect them, too!”

This event is free and open to the public. Come learn, engage, and leave inspired to protect our precious pollinators.
